Interior photos as panoramas

Today I noticed two photos where the sender was trying to show a picture of the boat's interior. Even though the two photos were not overlapped to the full 25% or more my software was still able to join them together as a single panorama photo. Of the three attached photos photo 1 is the left half, photo 2 is the right half and photo 3 is the resulting panorama made from the other two photos.

I use a package called Panorama Factory because it is the best but you may find free ones.

Once you get started taking 2 and 3 shot panoramas you get hooked. Besides boat interiors, landscapes are great as well as any other wide angle shot. On our latest Catamaran cruise I laied on the deck looking up and took a 2-picture panorama of the mast with the sails billowing out.
