Interested in Owner's time: BVI or Bahamas

Hi
I'm interested in buying owner's time in the BVI or Bahamas, 10-14 days in May 2013. Looking for a cat suitable for two couples, e.g. a Lagoon 38, Mahe 36 or similar.

Thanks
Jerry

Check out www.sailonline.com Good place for owners' time. You'll probably be too late for the really cheap deals that Moorings and Sunsail owners can offer as they get snapped up early.

Ahoy Jerry, I have a sunsail 384 in roadtown Bvi. If you do not mind making a last minute booking ( 16 days before dept) i can offer you a good deal. There is no problem getting a boat on short notice in bvi in may. I have always gotten what i want, i just book my air ahead and i know there will be a boat available. If you are interested send me an email at rickrevak@ gmail.com

Regards rick

That's the way to do it! Instead of buying a boat that you will be using for only a few weeks per year, find owners who are willing to extend you a good deal on a "lease". Once a good relationship has been established, it can turn to a lifelong yearly event, benefiting everyone! After the trip, I'd also invite the owners out to a nice dinner. Mauritz

This arrangement sounds like the "new" way to sail. Why tie up a chunk of cash, when numerous owners are happy to make a little extra, on the side. Just avoid the crazy weeks...
