A few details here might help your efforts.

A few obvious questions/concerns:

1. How recent are the photos? They are undated and, since there is no reference to recent paint etc., I find it somewhat difficult to believe that we are looking at the original gelcoat from 1976.
2. If that was the 'factory' interior finish, most of it does not reflect very well on the builder.
3. What brand/model of diesels and how many hours?
4. Ditto re: the sails.
5. Ditto re: the standing/running rigging.
6. Interior/cockpit space is rather limited compared to more modern designs.
7. Is the available survey done by a respected surveyor and what does it say?

Having said all of that, it IS very cheap and may be worth a look once you review the survey.

It could be just me, but, I find the doors to the cabins that are shaped like coffin's to be quite disturbing.

As long as no one starts to apply nails once you are on the other side.

Inexpensive Cruising Catamaran

Let's get one thing clear....No such thing! You can buy a cheap used boat and spend a lot of money bringing it back to life or you can buy one that cost more to start and hopefully spend less. In any any case as the saying goes ...."a hole in the water in which you dump money".

There are always deals to be had. They are rare, but they do exist. Timing can be everything! Right place at the right time can produce that deal.
