I would not say "no" to a Petter 55' or 60' cat, thank you very much.

Like Dana-Tenacity, I'd choose a Harryproa by a large margin. The Visionarry 'Rare Bird' is up for sale and if I had the cash I'd buy her like a shot. For any other multi, I'd look at just about any of the Oz or NZ designs, though the Seawinds are a bit heavy. Certainly Oram, Farrier, Schionning, Crowther ( including the ones from the bloke who has taken over from them, Stuart Bloomfield I think), Chamberlain, and a few others that I can't recall just now. I am not too interested in the Wharrams as I prefer higher prismatic coefficients though I think that they are pretty seaworthy. I would want a free standiing rig.

Same here

I knew a guy almost 20 years ago that had a mast aft rig on a trimaran and he said it performed very well.

Most people that saw it, could not get their minds around it at the time.

Hey Rebel Heart! The 1800s called and they want your crapbucket back.

An Atlantic 55. Forward cockpit for a clear view and great access to the mast in decent conditions, and a proper inside steering station when the going gets rough. I love the idea of separating the control/helm areas (forward) from the lounging area (aft). Not to mention easier and safer access to the fordeck and ground tackle.

Their is something about Wharram's that have always appealed to me.

But never been entirely comfortable with a plywood boat, let alone a second hand home built one. Perhaps a tad unfair, but.........
