I Am in Lust and Love
I am in lust and love and wish I had the CASH to go out and buy this as it is in reality, exactly what I wanted , but could not find a design or vessel that looked this sweet at the time.
The financier agrees, she loves the style as well but unfortunately any of the examples I was showing similar to this when chasing the money to start building were ugly in comparison, so went with the style we have now instead.
I feel a bit sick and saddened at what could have been if only I had found this at the time.

Such classic styling,
Still, there'll be nothing wrong with what we are building, she'll still be comfortable and capable, but ****, this one just makes me all warm and tingly inside.

Dang, that's nice. For a '90 she has an "old" feel to her....

She is a beauty. Almost good enough to make me want to trade mine in.

Wait! I might not please you with this, but that looks like an ugly mix of disfunctional design. Do you want to take a power cat fit for a family of twelve and put a poor functioning low aspect rig on top? I think you're lucky not to fall for such a vessel. I'm not sailing a top performance boat and I'll admit all boats are a compromise, but this looks like a failure of design to me. Ah, but maybe it's your ideal,- I shouldn't judge too harshly! Rigging can be changed tho...a little mod here and there...
I guess if I could afford this rig, I could afford to change the rigging...

That is a pretty unique looking vessel. The first thing that smacked me was that it was a Trawler/ketch/cat.. I guess the best of all worlds..

That rig looks to be just a tad bit undersized! I hope that it has big motors cause my guess is that it sure doesn't sail.

Wow, I love that boat too!
I see similarities to my boat's styling, but then I see advantages of shallow draft, ability to sail, and wider beam for more room.

It has 90 hp perkins x 2
She is following the concept of these style of vessels
They are clearly not designed as sailing vessels, but with the sails up and the wind at the right angle, they get an increase in speed, or more importantly can drop rpm back and get increased fuel economy and range for the same speed.

you can't change bridge deck clearance, and this one looks VERY low. Yikes.

I think your eyes may be deceiving you
Look at the guy on the roof for reference
And this picture from the back
I would suggest 700mm to 800mm clearance is ok for a 10 to 12 knot motor sailor
Many purely powered catamarans have a whole lot less.
This one from Lagoon as an example

That's just an over sized plywood pontoon boat, isn't it?

You could name her... "Stumpy"
Kidding of course. I do like the lines, and cabin styling. Looks like there's enough room for a spa on there!

Good that we all find different things attractive. Its just not the apple of my eye though. But every boat should have a home, so glad that this one doesn't make everyone
