Hull # Location on St. Francis 44

Hello,

This is my first post. I'm just starting my boat search. Tomorrow I'm going to look at my first boat a St Francis 44. Can someone tell me where to look for the hull#? It's probably in clear view, but I'm new at this and don't want to waste time looking all over the place. There is all ready so much to look at when you're new to boats. This is of course just a basic look, if I like the boat then I'll go over every inch and get a surveyor and all the rest of the pre-buying stuff.........wish me luck!!!

You might try sending a Private Message to Intentional Drifter - he'll know where the number is located.

I just moved from Savannah, I used to put my boat in about a block from where that one was "stored" I never saw it moved into the water, on the hard for at LEAST 4 years. Not sure if that is good or bad but it's info. I also looked at the pics and the topside shows much rougher than the interior. It is almost as if the interior pics were from new, find it very hard to believe the inside shows as well as those pics.

On the other hand it is a decent price, and is the "ASKING" price, might be worth a look.

As I understand it, owner stopped sailing it because of sickness in family. Boat is clean inside, but very rough outside. IMHO it would require a total hull repaint, new standing and running rigging, out drives look very rough, and a lot of TLC clean up work. It is the old model SF and bridge deck clearance is an issue.
