How well built are the older Prout Cats early 80's

Wonder how well they were built back then? Wonder how old is to old
when buying a Used Catamaran in the $250,000 range in the 50ft range.
Motors have low hrs and has been inspected and passed. But wonder
how old some of these boats can last and be safe?
