How many multihulls with cabins on bridge deck do you know?

I 'm talking about bigger multihulls, 50ft+.
The ones I know - Neel trimarans, Neel 50 prototype, Leopard 58, I think I've seen one custom catamaran with cabin on bridge deck somewhere , and that's about it.

From my point of view, having cabin(s) on bridge deck has few advantages. One extremely useful feature - these cabins can have best heads in world, absolutely bullet proof. Simple hole to the ocean - "direct deposit". No moving parts, no repairs. Can be used by anyone during passage etc. And for places where this is prohibited - second head, with holding tank.
It's done on Neel 50 - simply beautiful!

Do you know anything else like that?

Not sure where you are located, but Lightwave Catamarans from Queensland, Australia have produced a semi custom 45 footer with a main cabin on the bridgedeck. A very nice layout!

TAG 50 and TAG 60. There's also a Freydis 49 around with a cabin at deck level.

My cat . is a Roberts 2000 customised by Hal Whittaker ( USA ) Principally to include Master Cabin on Bridge Deck with island bed and space for easy chairs and d/t. ( Secretly - the motive was to ensure that partner was content !!! )
Large Heads in hull. Large Saloon also on Bridge. Galley in hull but is very accceptable. Lots of space - special feature is to be able to use domestic appliances. Reliable , cheap and efficient. All aluminium ,now 5 years and 20,000m and partner prefers cat. to house !! ( I got it right !! )

Wow, that's a big cat! Would you mind to share some pictures? It's always nice to see aluminum cats, there are not too many of them around .

Re: How many multihulls with cabins on bridge deck do you know?

I know that a Schionning Cat has a central cabin version, I think that any custom design would adapt to your requirements. I spoke to one of Jeff's customers that was exploring the bridge deck cabin option and the comment came that it is popular to have the cabins down - out of the way because you only sleep there and make the most of the space on the bridge for entertainment and other social activities. I think it is customer's demand that makes the cabin on bridge option less common.

Well you can add a seat with a hole in the bottom at stern at any boat I guess... Many million $$$ custom bigger catamarans have their master and guest cabins on the deck, while the crew and the galley is down below.
