How 'bout a Manta 42 ?

If you could share some information about Manta 42' cats, it would be greatly appreciated.

Ocean worthiness - good blue water criuser?
Resell value?
General reputation?
Safety?
Features?
How long they hold up?
Performance?
Comfort?
etc. etc. etc.

Many thanks!

Very nice boats. Excellent detail to fit and finish. All systems meet or exceed the duty they are called for. Very nice sailing boat.

There is a beautiful Manta 42 next door to my home, that just came back on the market. It is only 3 or 4 years old and has been completely redone by a couple planning to sail around the world. Their plans have changed and it is now on the market. If you are looking for a Manta 42, I would take a close at this one. It is beautiful. Feel free to PM me for the broker's #.

I have a friend with a Manta 42. It is a great boat. I just sailed with him from St. Augustine to Lake Worth last week. We did 210 miles in 24 hours. Made the entire trip in 26 hours. The boat was fast and stable. His is fitted for cruising with every option you could want and it seems very well organized.
