Rainmaker spotted 200 miles off shore from Savannah, GA. Ready for salvage. Picture shows hard top gone, still afloat and very repairable.

But it seems to me to be very low on the water. Lot's of water inside.

Maybe low in the water but definitely still floating. I'm impressed since I'm sure it's seem some pretty bad weather since supposedly sinking.

It looks like it won't go any lower because of the cored construction. Somewhere in between awash and float? Didn't go over but that cabin didn't stay on....Not sure where the easy rebuild comes from...if the starboard hull side got really banged by the freighter it will need a new one....everything else has to come out so it isn't a slam dunk but it sure looks slammed.

What is the benefit to have a partial submerged wreck for 4 months out there? i dont get it, could be a disaster for many sailing in that área, just wonder..

Well it would be of benefit if the only alternative was swimming. Can you get that?

Or maybe you can swim for hundreds of miles and however long that takes?
