Question Frank Pelin Design Yachts from NZ

Hi all , im after any information about a Frank Pelin designed catamaran from NZ , it,s 50ft & the design is called a "Free Spirit". I'd like to get an idea of it's performance dynamics , how many were built , if theirs still many around , if the designer is still alive. Any information at all would be wonderful . Isabell

Is that the centre cockpit 50' pelin that was in Airlie many years back. Big volume , pretty boat as most of pelins are. 25 year old ply boat may be a concern if the maintenance hasn't been kept up at any stage.

Regards.

Looks like a nice boat. But what is the displacement? I would think it would be quite a bit, with all that actual wood, and it looks like that's a porcelain toilet.
