"...no hobby horsing ..." ...and yet others who did test sail at the same show complained of severe hobby horsing on the FP. Different conditions/expectations I guess |

Which show are you talking about, I have not seen any reports from other people who sailed at the show I was at. as at the show on Friday and was 1 of 3 people on a test sail, I don't know how many were on the Saturday but I have heard they did not test sail on Sunday due to severe fog. | |

The link does not give any clue as to the comments you have noted.

Its on the forum there: current link is Yachting and Boating World: Multi Hull Show Portsmouth But probably moves about so the relevant post says "FountainePajot Shame there was no Lavezzi as originally promised. They said it wasn't ready in time which is a shame. Enjoyed looking round and test sailing. Sailed well in very little wind. Concerned by lack of bimini (hard top or otherwise and exposed helm). Was concered and surprised by "hobby" horsing motion in almost no swell in the quiet conditions of Sunday. This was MUCH worse than the Broadblue we tried later. More on this later. Did seem like a lot of boat for your money. The other customer on the trail sail was a veteran of a fews cats (unlike me) and was impressed too." |

We have just taken delivery of our new Mahe so our view may have a bias. We took her out in virtually no breeze which then built during the day. Like most yachts (including monohulls) she was a little sensitive to passing wash when she had no real headway (perhaps similar to the "quiet conditions" that are described). Once the breeze got up to 6 knots or so the effect went completely. We are very happy campers. A longer report to follow. |

Scott, Congradulations!!!!!!! There must be a good story there. I'm looking forward to seeing the boat... Hmmmm.... your marina is about a mile away. Time permitting, I may wander over there this afternoon and have my Mahe envy spread throughout the marina (sigh).. Rick Merritt Island, FL |

Sorry, the files are to big to send, the server will only allow 400kb/image.

Trust me on that. Cause, I had to resize some photos. In order to post photos of a sailboat hull. Just look in my photo gallery. Those photos were originally too big to download. And I had to resize them. Just use a photo program. Like MGI. Or similar type of photo program. And you'll eventually get it.
