Re: Easiest >40' Ex Charter Cat To Sell In Australia?

Please do not tell the charters, as my 2010 now into its 7th year is still renting out as strongly as it did in its first full year of operation.

I must admit to a week long hiccup when Debbie crawled through the area though.

Re: Easiest >40' Ex Charter Cat To Sell In Australia?

Leaving aside the "putting it into charter" questions, how does the Aus/NZ market for 36-43ft cats compare to that for 44-47ft cats? Are there a lot more boats available in the smaller range? Would it necessarily be easier to sell a comparably equipped (and lower priced) smaller boat or do potential buyers lean toward the larger boats?

Hi....rather than offer an opinion it may be better to visit.......boatsonline.com.au........which is a site that 'gathers' boats for sale......from different sources/brokers.........and follow those listed ......gives an idea of pricing too....and where the boat is located makes a difference.......catamarans are more popular in Queensland......the market does not differentiate much between brands....lots here are galley down too......
