Difference Between FP Fidji 39 and Antigua 37

It looks like the Fidji has a smaller interior size ie berths, I guess maybe narrower hulls.
They both seemed to be built at similar times and wasn't sure if they were supposed to be different models or one replace the other?
The extra couple of feet in length is attractive from a seaworthy point of view but is there much difference in their sea keeping ability?

Just looking at some photos online, I'd say the Fidji berths look to be about the same size as those on my Antigua. From the specs, I see that it has two feet more beam as well as the extra two feet of length. The bridge clearance/mast height is the same at 55 feet, and the draft is very close at 3' 6". Tankage looks about the same, and they both have two 18 HP diesels under the aft berths.

The main differences I see are that the Fidji appears to have a bigger salon area, probably where that extra 2 feet of beam shows itself, and a larger cockpit. I would guess you have more storage as well. The Fidji helm station is located amidships, whereas the Antigua helm is on the Stbd side. I'm not sure if I would like the amidships helm or not, it seems like the mast would cause some visibility issues. Access to the salon from the cockpit is via two small doors on either side of the helm vice the central slider that is on the Antigua. This gives the Fidji a bigger galley area I think. Otherwise, they look very similar.

I'm very happy with my Antigua, but I probably wouldn't turn down a Fidji if somebody offerred an even swap.
