The 33ft/35ft Dean cats were very heavy and as Talbot says, the build quality was suspect (I visited their yard and can confirm that)
There were 2 in Europe
in the late 1990's, by chance both in my home marina at Millbrook. I sailed one with a yachting journalist on board. In light winds we were amazed when, coming up to a tack, the owner started the engine
. "Otherwise we won't get round" he said
In S Africa
in the 1990's they were considered "party boats" not real sailing boats.
I'd avoid one if I were you.
