Cruising with carbon mast

Are any of you world cruisers cruising with a carbon mast (and boom)? Or is aluminium still the thing to go for?

aluminum is perfectly fine, but carbon (properly built) is better.

I'm waiting for them to come out with a carbon mast with in-mast furling.

They are @Bash! I have an Oyster 655 in my yacht management with a carbon mast, in mast furling.
