cruising sails with performance

Our laminate sails are completely shot. Is dacron still the choice of a good cruising sail with performance? If one were to willing pay say 30% more than dacron, would anything else come to mind?

Pentex seems like the best choice at this moment for performance oriented sails that will last you a long time for a reasonable price .You would need the CX7 and CX 9 T for the size of sails you have on your St Francis 44.
If you want I can get a Quote to compare and I have the St Francis dimensions here.
I will ship you the Dyneema material next week when my staff is back from vacation so you can use it to cover your anchor chain.

Our cost for a set of Spectra sails is now around the $ 7.000,00 and that is a main and a genoa with a total dimension of 110 squire meters or comparable to the St Francis 44\\

Hey Fastcat 435, it seems you are a sailmaker. How much could you make a 84 sqm main and 38sqm jib out of dp dys spectra and would you reccomend this for a high performance 51' catamaran?

Hallo Seven Seas , no we are not sail makers, I would recommend soft Norlam made by North Sails, excellent quality, uv resistance and keeps its shape well.
