What i2f said . . . no bad at all, Maren. My post was to help the casual reader who might not have bothered to read the entire thread get a clearer picture of who wanted what.

Don't give up on your multihull dream. How about a 40' Brown Searunner? There is one at the Toronto Multihull Cruising Club. Can't speak to her condition but it should be worth a look. The Searunner layout is perfect for a family - with a centre cockpit the kids get the berths foreward & the parents aft. We cruised the East Coast & Bahamas for 5 years with our 2 girls as teenagers. You could plan a great trip down the East Coast - in & out of the Intracoastal Waterway, lots of historical places to visit etc. Your son should meet other kids on the way since most cruisers follow the narrow highway south in the same time frame as dictated by the weather. Then over to the Bahamas where the draft on the Searunner is perfect for exploring. Then ... whereever you want.

Here is the link to the TMCC website and classifieds:

Good luck. Pat

My CSK is still for sale. Its in great condition, great sailing boat we go out every week. Best priced production cat on the market I think. Custom built fiberglass/foamcore. Listed here and in Latitude 38 and on Craigs list in Ca. ,Washinton and Oregon. And on Yacht World please call 831 475 6869 if interested. Not sure how to post pictures on here but they are in all the adds. This is one of the nicest CSK's ever built according to many.
