Copenhagen Multihull Meeting July 2009

This year, the Danish Multihull Society will be hosting the bi-annual IMM right in the middle of Copenhagen. Dates are July 23 to 26.

These meetings are great to meet fellow multihullers from all over Scandinavia and Northern Germany, check out the boats, there will be some new boats there as well.

I enjoy seeing all the small details people add or change on their boats, and just chatting with them. The whole spectrum of boats normally comes, from home built to the latest, and all sizes up to about 45 feet, but mostly smaller.

We expect up to 120 boats this year, with a minimum of around 80.

Here is a link to the site, you can come for a day, or for the whole thing with an informal dinner and dancing one evening. There are some informal and friendly races during the day, so if you want to come and crew for the day, I'm sure we can arrange a ride.

Plenty of low cost airlines fly to Copenhagen from around Europe.
