Cheapest Lagoon 450 ever

Here is a link to a Lagoon 450, lowest price I've ever seen, It's been repaired under the waterline. It wouldn't be the 450 that ground the keels and lower hulls off on the rocks near Tortola a few years ago would it?

Re: Cheapest Lagoon 450 ever

The description says it was damaged during delivery, and is a new boat. Repaired means repaired. If it was repaired well, then I would not be afraid of it.

Ahh, it is a boat or "former boat" of forum member Roetter. It was grounded on a reef in Bahamas and declared a total loss, tore bottoms of hulls off. There is at least 1 other 450 out there that has been through the same fate. It could in fact be a quality repair, rebuild. I hope to find out more. The price is attractive.

Re: Cheapest Lagoon 450 ever

The damaged Lagoon in the BVI (see these pictures I took while she was on the hard at Nanny Cay after being dragged off the Sandy Spit reef) was transported to St. Martin where negative castings of another ship's hulls were used to fix her up. It could indeed be the same boat. I think that if work was done well the boat would certainly be worth the asking price.
