Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

Well prices are all relative, people seem to pay a bunch for this type of thing.

John Marples CC37 Trimaran

cc 37 seems like a good one for 60k. (that's not cheap to me either) ahha
but apparently according to this thread anything under 150k is pretty cheap...
There was also a brown 34 in san diego for 20-30k but can't find it now.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

The crabman comes in again. This is the one. Newer engines, sails, bimini plus watermaker and other good stuff and only $109,500. The price was just dropped from $160,000 today. It's a real cat and not a project. This is a good deal (I think). If you find a better deal then buy it.

I went ahead and registered again. The "forgot Password" button didn't work.

It looks nice. Really nice with important new things.

Argh.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

Just saw this one. Looks like it might have some potential. I've seen cats in worse shape looking pretty fine after a couple of years effort.

The Lagoon ctually looks pretty good right now. I would have gone looking at this had I not already found mine. The Norseman looks great!

That Lagoon was supposedly sold for about $30,000 (post #715). Maybe not.

Just a note - she's under contract and turned out to be a project.

As soon as the broker and I started speaking he said "She's a little rough around the edges." Which is fine for a boat this price.

But then he let me know there were 4 partners on the boat who didn't take great care of it, and said something about doing $70K of repairs. So it's not something I'd consider cheap anymore.

That said, she's under contract and it wouldn't surprise me a bit to see her sell. It's a ton of boat for the money.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

That price was just dropped yesterday afternoon. It moved fast. Or do you mean she was under contract and the buyers backed out. And BTW they haven't updated the status to pending yet on their site or YW.

Most brokers are slow to do that as its a great way to farm potential buyers info.
