Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
One of the waterworld tris was rebuilt in So Cal and has been activly and succesfully raced in such races as the newport to ensenada and one of the races to Hawaii, the name slips my mind.

It's called "LoeReal", Mr. Enloe of El Paso TX is the owner, I was lucky enough to get a ride once.
23+ in about 12kts of breeze. THAT'S a LOT of fun.

Can't beat free
Here's one for $0. It's just the hulls only. His pics didn't load. It is NOT the finished boat.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
Here's one that made it through Hurricane Isaac!
Fully electric. Sail/umbrella fits nicely on top of port or starboard hull!
Price negotiable, but don't wait too long! This one will go any day!

The interior needs to be updated, but I wonder what else is wrong with that boat? The pilothouse needs quite a bit of work too. I wonder what shape the sails and rigging are in? But that is a good size boat for the price.

30-FT AUGNAUGHT, 1995
Latitude 38 - The West's Premier Sailing and Marine Magazine
This boat has been for sale for ages, and the photo in the link is probably the best shot you'll ever see because (and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, naturally) I believe this is one of the ugliest designs to ever see production. Nevertheless, it's hard to imagine a better deal for a 30-foot trimaran. Hopefully it's in good shape. Staring too intently may cause the eyes to bleed, but I figure, as long as you're the one driving the thing, your gaze will be on the sails and the water.

A 14-foot mini-cruiser is minimalist. A 19ft is comfortable, and anything much larger than a 25 borders on ostentatious.
