Trimaran sailboat project

This is a Kurt Hughes design 23' sailing trimaran, in plywood, foam and fiberglass "cylinder molded" construction. (see design here: Kurt Hughes Multihull Design - Catamarans and Trimarans for Cruising and Charter - 23' Trailerable Trimaran)

Could be cool

Boatguy it has left the dock because i have sailed her. The only reason I'm selling her is i can't handle the cold water, plus i have to get back to Florida and to transport her back would cost 5 our 6k.

The sorted history was she is a documented vessel and was illegally sold to a brit and when the guy tried to get in the country to take possession he was denied entrance to the USA.

If i had the time I'd take her threw the canal.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

So you do have time to sail the Piver back to Florida? Or will you be looking to flog that off on some rube with a paint brush as well?

I'm not looking to be rude, but you're doing everyone into these boats a disservice when you try to sell a boat that likely needs serious (based on your other posts) work to be seaworthy as "just needs paint" "ready for Hawaii"

First off, for someone that has not seen the boats you have your nerve. Sounds like your another internet arm chair sailor to me.

i doubt you have the cruising miles that i do.

I guess there is one in group. If anyone would like a survey they are more than welcome to have one.

Atleast I'm out using my boats, which its apparently more than your doing.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

Oh, I guess I should say something for the entertainment of all.

not that it has anything to do with the condition of the boat in question, but I have done about 15,000 miles in the last 10 years.

not so much in the last few years what with my arm chair undergoing refit and young kids etc.
