Woah, that looks like fun.

I wonder how much time and money to get it ready to go...

I'm sure the answer is way too much!

i did a bit more research on the model and it sounds like it may be altered without the designers approval-

Kurt's posted about this boat in his blog a few times. Were I seriously interested in her, I'd contact him to beg his wisdom on the idea. And possibly work out a consultation inspection of her with him, since he's the one who drew her up. In addition to having more than a little multihull design experience & knowledge.

He's always been quite straightforward in my dealings with him. Meaning pulling no punches, even when it came to his own personal work or boat. Which is the best way to be from my perspective.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

I have looked at this boat under a previous owner! most of the interior wood needs replaced and the filler on the hull which looks like bondo has been exposed to sunlight and water for at least 5 years so would have to be removed. this boat appears to have suffered significant deterioration under this owner and the boat was open to the weather
5 years ago and seems to be the same since I saw it.

Must not have needed as much work as he thought. If I was closer I would have been interested. That would have been a great weekender.

Steve, did you buy it? What was it, the ad is gone, the link dead. Inquiring minds want to know.

If I make a post I like to atleast copy and attach one picture so the rest of us can look back and see what it was. May I suggest fellow posters also do this with their contributions.

Cheers
