As I said, it wasn't on my own boat, but a friend's. IIRC they had their screens made by a marine trimmer.

mine is an older cat 42 solaris and i assure you it does not feel like a coffin ,, i chose it for the open feeling you have with the large windows in every direction from the salon ,, but the best thing i ever did was covering the rear deck from the davit to the cockpit ,, party deck and room galore ,, but selling it to settle some debts ,, actually listed on this forum .. it is windy season and i cant wit to get her back in shape ,, a hundred islands less than a day sail away .. panama is a cruisers heaven with two oceans less than 60 miles apart

Part of the reason I don't like the all timber tradittional look - similar to coffin finish.

Much prefer a white gelcoat/flowcote finish with trim. Makes any space lighter as as far as cleaning maintaining much easier..
