Interesting boat. Do you sail her on the great lakes?

I considered one. One review here:

[PCW] Catfisher 28 and Catfisher 32 motor-sailer cats

I've read in several places they are fairly prone to hobby horsing, something I understand is much less with the 32.

I bought the boat in Wisconsin on lake Pepin(wide part of Mississippi) Sailed around for a summer then got board so we decided to take it south. My girlfriend and i spent 6 weeks motoring down the river. It was a fun trip but would have liked to do it in a little faster boat. Now the boat is in Punta Gorda Florida. We are thinking of maybe wondering are way around the Bahamas in Feb and March.

It turns out it is a bent rod so the Thermo King dealer had a new one. I am just waiting on gaskets to put it back together.

Good luck on the reassembly and I hope it doesn't take too long. I guess I was really lucky with my prefire problem and only messed up the head a bit. It went back together very easily.
For all other readers my problem was due to a fuel injection pump timing issue that I caused myself. Its not good to try to make an engine run when the timing is off. Extremely critical to get the timing right.
kind regards,
