| Catamaran - Share / Fractional Ownership / Charter?
we are looking to buy a cat next year (40' range) then spend half the year living aboard (somewhere) and the other half of the year on land (Baja). As we will only be using the boat for half the year (during the low season) we are trying to figure out what to do with it the rest of the year (high season). Choices would include leave it on the hard (not such a good idea), put it in charter (as we plan on buying a used boat not sure if this is entirely feasible), fractional ownership (not sure if this will work) or dual ownership / partnership with another couple who would like a boat for half the year in the high season. Does anyone have any thoughts or other ideas? |
