Catamaran Insurance?

I just bought a Bahia 46. Survey came back good and I close in a few weeks. Any suggestions or considerations I should be thinking about? I'll be mostly East Coast for the next 6 months. Thanks!

Depends upon whether you want named storm coverage or not. IMIS if you don't want hurricane coverage. BoatUS if you do.

Search for the many threads on insurance - lots of info out there on this forum.

Congratulations on the new boat!

Just want to correct one thing.

IMIS is an insurance broker representing a number of different insurance underwriters, some offer named wind storm coverage and some do not.

You can contact my wife, Susan for more info as she is an IMIS agent, CF user name TabbyCat.

Cheers and welcome to a more level life!
