You need to go back to bed. You've obviously gotten out the wrong side this morning.

Any chance you could discuss the topic without insulting people or their boats?

I'm not insulting anyone or their boats. You're doing a very good job on the former, however. Now I know why I never bother with the multuhull threads. Good work bro.

I was starting to draw the same conclusion, these guys are highly experienced racing sailors in smaller cats. National Champions and all that. (But clearly not as competent as some of the people who have posted above. )

But WBB is a place not to be trifled with, which is why I posted this - NEW WBB INSTRUCTIONS a few months back. I (like 44C) will almost always anchor up at Double Island Point and wait for morning unless the bar is very very calm. It is a delightful anchorage in a multi in anything with any South wind in it, which is the standard direction for most of the year here. (Its crap in a mono, well at least all the monos I owned, cause there is a refracted swell that sets the boat rolling gunwale to gunwale).

Self evidently untrue, you are posting in a Multihull Thread.
