Catalac - Steering Cable ?

Hello,

Does anyone happen to know the recommended type of cable to use for the steering mechanism on an 8m Catalac?

Many thanks,

Simon

1 x 19 stranded stainless steel rigging wire will work fine

i just replaced my cable for my catalac 8m - down to 1 strand in places,
where the cable comes from the engine compartment to the chain on the port side i think another pulley is needed to deflect the wire from rubbing on the pulley housing
However i was given 4mm architectural wire, more flexible than running rigging wire apparently

1x19 is pretty stiff - I'd recommend 7 x 19.
