True or apparent? The sea state doesn't look like 30 knots true.

Concur. The percentage of white caps does seem rather low.

Instead of getting hung up on the details, isn't it much more fun to just enjoy the video this generous sailor has offered us? A couple of fellows having a great time out sailing.

I wish more people would share these moments.

Really great video. I was in the keys 3 weeks ago and coming back to Ft Myers We were running on average over 8 kts. We also hit speeds of 12plus . Great feeling and tons of fun .
Keep up the fun and enjoy your sailing .
In my marina only about 5% of boat owners use their boats and of that number most just day sail. Many incredible boats and such a waste--no use
