Cat Capsized off Ocean City

Two killed when sailboat capsizes near Ocean City - baltimoresun.com

Cat off of Ocean City. Report says Sail but looks like a Power Cat.

But look at the bright side . Both power and sail cats don't sink. Not true with monohulls.

They still burn which is the number one cause of boat destruction.

I will take little initial stability and lots of secondary stability over lots of initial stability and no secondary stability any day. In comparison monohulls go over slowly and predictably, cats go unexpectedly and fast.

Not trying to start a mono vs multi debate. I like cats and have owned cats.

Either way, very sad for their families.
