Carry a Flats Boat on a catamaran?

I saw a Voyage 500 catamaran in Sopers Hole, Tortola several years ago that had what I thought was a flats style bonefishing boat made of what I thought was Kevlar, carried on the stern.
Can anyone help me identify the flats boat? Thanks

How much weight can you handle hanging off the stern? There are some boats around 400 to 600 lbs, 15 to 16 ft + motor length that would work pretty well as far as fishing is concerned. There are some ultra light, ultra shallow boats,
150-200 lbs, but they are going to be very limited as far as handling any kind of sea conditions. This will really limit your range and conditions you be able to fish. I'll be towing a flats boat in the Bahamas next winter and spring.

Thanks for the reply Don. Not on my boat now so can't find out how much my dinghy boat or transom can hold. Anyway, let me know your itinerary and I'll follow you around (ha!). Good luck with the bonefish!

I think the 16 foot Egret at 700 pounds in Kevlar is the lightes real flats boat out there. Link: 167 | Egret Boats
There are other options for fishing the flats, kayaks, Stand Up Paddle Boards, canoes and my favorite the Flatstalker. I actually own one of these silly things and love it!

I just saw an interesting flats boat at the Miami boat show. It's inflatable. Here is a link: www.airbornboats.com
