It doesn't really matter.. OP do the research, and come to your own conclusion. I did, and ended up buying a boat with *GASP* 2 saildrives and have not looked back...... and I'm out!

They are just so far off course from the 'keep it simple, stupid' philosophy that many practical mariners with any sort of building or engineering background have an instinctual desire to RUN AWAY.
