Re: Boat Name Needed !

The boat moored next to me is named "Time Bandit" IMHO it's the perfect name for a sailboat.

Re: Boat Name Needed !

I have a name I want to use on my soon to be next boat, but I'm not saying yet as its a secret!

As for Aquaris, interesting name but I bet youll have lots of trouble with people getting it wrong. Over the radio expecially, most will assume its Aquarius.

To me, a good name should have that sort of thing considered, easy to be understood in different countries and over the air.

Fond memories of a yacht club cruise, years ago, where "Dream Chaser" was rafted up next to "Wet Dream."

Imagine the embarassment if "Wet Dream" needed to call a "mayday." What a joke! Who cares (I don't) if a wet dream sinks (sounds deserved). Silly names are so very disrespectful of the vessel.

Re: Boat Name Needed !

"Wet Dream" is hardly unique for a boat's name. Just check the USGC listing of documented boats. Probably lists a tiny fraction of boats with that name. Perhaps those boats will take revenge on their owners. Do you believe in Karma?

A couple years ago we were sailing down in Baltimore harbor and there were three different power boats all called "Wet Dream" sighted in a 4 hour sail.

Goodness....
