I love my 3G GPS iPad! It's an amazing weather, navigation and entertainment device with no wires and 10+ hours of battery life and portable as hell. The 10 hours is non stop use, I have been getting more tho, standby time last 30 days.

Have you tried the GoodReader iPad app? Lets you read your magazines in PDF format without any loss of quality in the images and graphics. Has a neat sync over WiFi feature for transferring your PDF files to the iPad.

I have a PayPal receipt that clearly states what I bought was a magazine to be delivered via US Post, from July of 2009. Not one issue was ever delivered nor were requests for a refund acknowledged. It's not the money, it's the principle, that's all. Cut and paste from PayPal below.

I got caught in the middle. They promised paper editions, and then switched over.
After a few emails, I got a "we hear you loud and clear", and they made inferences of going back to paper although not directly.

The last email I sent asked for a refund of the rest of my subscription as it wasn't being delivered as originally promised (paper).

I got no answer.

I just wanted to share my pain after paying for the premium delivery option at 3X the subscription price.

Dear Mason,

We acknowledge your request for a refund of your unused subscription.

Unfortunately MULTIHULLS Magazine, fdba Chiodi Advertising & Publishing filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy protection in November 2009. A bankruptcy Trustee has been appointed as follows and should be contacted directly if you wish to file a claim:

Separately, the digital issue of the magazine is still available online and all subscribers with an unfulfilled paper subscription balance are being offered the option of converting their outstanding balance into a current digital subscription for the same financial amount with respect to any future digital issues produced. If you wish to take advantage of this offer then please click on the attached link:

Yeah right, just no business sense or loyalty to customers.

The Catamaran Company (the world's largest Lagoon dealer) is now a major shareholder in Multihulls magazine so you will see editorial content slanted "their way"...

That is because in Germany you have to write the company to stop the subscription. It's like that for everything. The total opposite of the US.
