Best place to store a cat ashore in Florida for the hurricane season

We are new to the forum and are looking for a good place to store a catamaran 22ft 6in beam for the 2016 hurricane season.
We will hopefully not require a lot done whilst the boat is left ashore (dead ship) just a one coat bottom job and a good polish when we get back.
Any suggestions welcome?

If you expect to get to Florida I would reccomend Indian Towm! I'm not sure if the Marina's name is still the same but it was " Indian Town Marina" they are located on the St Lucie Waterway, that crosses Fl. to Lake Okeechobee. they are above the first lock so you need not worry about surge and its very secure. If you want to call them the number is (772) 597-2455

Florida's a big state. If you could be more specific you'll get better info.

St. Augustine Marine Center

I'm not a big fan of the services BUT as a secure location to store your boat during H-season you cannot argue with SAMC. For hauling they offer both slings and a train (for the big cats). They offer tie down straps.

The location is on a river off the ICW but still only 30 minutes from the STA inlet.

STA has not taken a direct hit from a hurricane since before 1880 according to NOAA and when it does get brushed the average wind velocity is 101 mph. The last hurricane to brush STA was Dora in 1964 as a cat2.

Thanks but we just left there after a 6 month stay and wouldn't go back again.
Too expensive and workmanship not satisfactory.

The best place, truly the best place is River Forest. They have 2 locations. One is outside of LaBelle and the other in Stuart. They do not lie to you EVER! They will take excellent care of your vessel and the place is immaculate. If you do not participate in Active Captain, take a look at them as they recently introduced a service where people can review service providers who have actual experience with the provider but for my money it will ALWAYS be River Forest! 😍

Riverside Marina in Ft Pierce. Can take up to 25' ft beam. On the ICW. Rates are good and it's a DIY yard as well as Service by the Yard. It gets full fast in May-June but Sally usually finds space. Probably 20 cats in yard.
