Best "for sale" website?

AFAIK yachtworld.com is the standard. Are there any others? One thing I don't like about YW is that I can't seem to sort by "recent listings" to see what new boats have come on the market. So I try to eyeball it, which is a pain.

It's compounded by the fact that there seem to be fewer boats being put up for sale at the current time.

EDIT: I see sailboatlistings.com has that feature. I'm still not sure if there's a one-stop-shop though for "all" the catamarans currently for sale world-wide. There should be one, no?

Tried catamarans.com and multihullcompany.com already, yes?

Those are the two biggest I know of.

Re: Best "for sale" website?

You can set up a search on yw and they will email you new listings that meet your criteria. Does that make sense? I forget what they call it. Personal boat shopper or something, They have been sending me emails every weds. for a couple of years. Good luck. ps. all of the boats on yw are broker represented, no for sale by owner.

Re: Best "for sale" website?

FYI...

On yachtworld.com, if you go to "advanced search", then down at the bottom, just above the "search" button, there is an option to limit it to "boats added recently." You can choose 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, and so on.

I also browse through sailboatlistings.com now and then, and craigslist.

What constitutes the "best sites" will vary depending on what part of the world you are in, and in the U.S. at least, even what state.

I do the 3 day search all the time on YW. You can do SailboatListings just for cats or tris. They are in chronological order with the latest listings last so go to the last page.
Sailboat Listings sailboats for sale by owner.
Both The Catamaran Company and the Multihull Company have a new listing section and a price cut section. The Multihull Company has the best brokerage site ever. You can download all the pics for any boat they list and save them to your files. Usually they are high res, too!
