Best Catamaran Magazine?

Aloha Everyone,

I've been reading this forum for about a month now and it's pretty awesome. I'm taking some sailing lessons now and have become very interested in possibly getting my own boat. I'm really attracted to the look of cats and what they can offer. Anyway, I'd like to subscribe to a magazine either completely or mostly about cats. What do people consider to be the best magazine out there for cats?

I may be just a touch biased - MULTIHULL WORLD Australia is the one.

I have a digital subscription to Multihulls World. It's French based, even though I live in the US. I find it a lot of mag for the money, with excellent world wide coverage, and a focus on the cutting edge of cruising design.

Multihulls USA is worth a look, also there is an English version of a French Multihull magazine that covers the European scene.
In my view, Multihulls World Australia, similar to virtually all boating magazines from USA/Australia/New Zealand, is little more than advertorial -but it will at least tell you what is available

Multihulls World is OK for keeping up to date on what is new in the multihulls arena. It also offers some useful tips on mooring etc. and stories of people voyaging on multihulls.

What it doesn't offer is any real critical review of boats or equipment. The most negative thing you'll read about in a boat review is something like "closet too small" or some such fluff. Which, I suppose, is pretty much true of all the major yachting magazines.

I've found blogs by individuals cruising in multihulls to be far more informative about the nitty-gritty. And blogs are free!!

I like MULTIHULLS Magazine On Line - their on line version is inexpensive and they are providing some interesting materials on their web site.

I agree with the consensus. Mutilhull Mag is what I read.

En fait, Multihulls World et Multicoque sont les memes magazines. Multihulls World c'est la traduction de multicoque pour nous pauvres anglophones.

BEWARE of Multihulls Magazine (USA). I really liked it and subscribed for 20-25 years, BUT needed to renew end of 2009 for J/F 2010 issue. I did but they failed to tell me they were going chapter 7 and eliminating print issues. It looks like you can still subscribe to the print issues depending on where you look online. Print subscriptions are advertised for $89/2 years while Digital subs are $29/2years.
I didn't get a single issue from my renewal subscription and I finally realized it this week. Of course they didn't inform me. They did offer to convert me to a digital subscription but I bought the print. (Huge price ndifferance). I hate getting screwed like this.
DO NOT subscribe to their print issues. You won't get them.
If you must get the digial issues, you'd be wise to only get them as they come out. If you subscribe for 1 or 2 years, they likely won't be around to see the end of your subscription.
