Right now the house batteries are golf cart 6 volts wired to put out 12 volts.
If you can start engine manually, OK. If not, rather risky.
My house bank is two independent batteries wired 1,2 or both . Charging
is trough dual charge controller automatically . And engine battery is 1,2 or both, no problem there.
