i don't think there is any great stratergy in phils track!
he is just sailing with what the gods send him!
though i do think he will soon be back on an easterly track once the south south westerlies come back tonight,unless he is planning a stop in st martin
looking at the gribs for the next week,the pressure gradient is very slack between 30 north and 40 north,so he would do well to keep heading for the azores
as the azores
high re-establishes it self,later in the week,but he needs to be heading ENE to make the best use of it.
