Re: Atlantic delivery

The strong cold front we experienced on the East Coast today is headed offshore tonight. Looks like it's just about to kick Boaty in the arse. His last position is the yellow spot.

That is the weather I mentioned in post 50. I have a feeling it will dissipate over the water however because it was/is highly organized it will still be strong. I'd like to see it at least to correlate physical observation to the weather charts.

I believe he does. At least he implied it when he mentioned he was plying several gents with IPA. Either they signed on or they were pressed into service. Those Englishmen are a crafty lot. Also, I would think the owner or the insurer or both would insist upon it for a winter delivery.

I would read it that currently he probably has winds from the east as makes Northing he'll probably see variables , then it will be in the lap of the gods what he gets as he approaches the Azores , the lows pressures at the moment are tracking quite south and most are fairly big.

Re: Atlantic delivery

He is still running dead east along the 30 degree latitude
I bet he start northing after Bermuda's lon., weather wise, will stop at Azores for replenishing and will go to Spain from there

Re: Atlantic delivery

Today 15-20 from the S-SE. He might be outside of the rain, but under cover. The shifting to the SW and becalming to 5-10 over 1-2 days. He's well south of that east coast ****.

But Tuesday-Wed he may get some badass in the NW, hence staying down and headed east.

The basturd knows what he's doing in the zone below bermuda. This is classic stuff

I just recorded a new tune about an Englishman who was impressed into service and ultimately wrecked on Tatoosh and became an illegal alien in a strange land. If Boaty is impressing crew in FLL and taking them to Spain I may need to change the story.

Hope he slides through the cracks.🔨
