I've banged my head more than once when manatees find their way between the hulls. I swear they must have radar or something and wait until my head is in proximity to something hard when they decide to spout off. Of course I jump and hit my head.

I may design a crossing gate for that space!!

A few years back we were in Sea of Cortez for the summer - very hot. Didn't want to go swimming, it was too hot. Then a bridgedeck cat came and anchored, an hour later everyone was in the water under their boat, we had rum and beer on an old surfboard that we would push from person to person, very pleasant afternoon.
