Any idea what this cat might be worth?

It's a 52 foot long 1986 Kelsall design cat, that has just been sailed, and survey indicated no structural problem. The interior is not very pretty (ie mostly the white sort of walls), but it does have working dinghy, multiple sets of sails, working navigation instruments and working motor with sail drive.

I own this boat, but am having some issues with the management of it, so I was wondering if anybody cared to guess what it may roughly be worth. BTW it is in the Caribbean.

Somewhere between 50 and 160k Kelsall are mostly oddball very dated designs.

Re: Any idea what this cat might be worth?

When was it built 1986??

Or is it one of the recent Ballotta built 52's ?

I assume he meant built in 1986.

Yes, it was built in 1986 by Windborne Yachts in the UK. I do not plan to use the boat for personal purposes, but to operate a day charter operation on it, if that has any bearing on potential valuation.

Is this the one that was in sad shape and a good price in Europe and did we talk about this before? I posted the YW link on one of these.

No. This is a different one. Actually in pretty good shape. Just sailed her for a few days. She was for sale in Panama.

Looks pretty good for her age. Both engines are working?

Here is the other one.

Someone on the forum here purchased this one and fixed her up.

Yup, that is the one. I am trying to pin a value on it for some business reasons. I bought it for less than the listed price, lets just keep it at that, so any ideas would be welcome.

Ah yes, the engines are working, as well as the electronics.
