Alternative Show

.. so I'm crying in my coffee right now.

I am not going to be able to tend the boat show">Miami boat show in February. I'd still like to go to another one this half of the year. Are there any other shows with Cats between now and, say.. august?

I would love to go to this one.. but, that is a HECK of a long way to go to get my "cat fix"..

Re: alternative show

I didn't know they had one, then... is it essentially the same as the October show?

Quick! The St. Pete show is this weekend. We went to it in 2012. We went to check out an EndeavourCat and there were some cats at this show. And it was in Florida. And we came from cold Rhode Island.

Of course it was 67 degrees out here on Monday, so I'm not desperate for warmth yet.

Re: alternative show

The Southwest International show in March will probably have a few, although it will not be comparable to Miami or Anapolis. You'll have to settle for some monohulls if you really want to make your entry fee worthwhile there.

The Annapolis Spring Show >> Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show | Annapolis Boat Shows

This is only the 4th year for this show and I have never been to it (we're usually still cruising in April). I expect it is much abbreviated from the October show.

Cannes is the show for larger / high end (power) catamarans.

Also a long way but a far better show in the size you are looking (based on your earlier posts) : Salon International du Multicoque; 15 - 19 April 2015.

I checked out their website, and it does look like a nice show... But not many cat's... Oh, and I own a monohull, so, it wouldn't be settling at all.

I looked at the website, and that looks amazing! But, can you tell me where it is located? I'm probably an idiot, but it's not like it says.. "the show is in Paris...." I repeat.. I'm probably an idiot.

So.. can you tell me where it is?

Re: Alternative Show

Here's an idea for you, Scarlet >> take in that French show and arrange to visit and tour all the French cat builders' facilities: Lagoon, FP, Privilege, Catana, et al and report back to us. Maybe you can get some test sails, hmmmm? All that should equip you with more knowledge than you can stand.

Outremer is located in La Grande Motte. Catana a little to the west.

The others are at the Atlantic coast. Whithout clothes in April not the best idea .
