Altair 39 - Do you know them?

Hi there, I am researching prospective catamarans in the 40ft range for some extended blue water cruising including the Pacific and Atlantic. Below are links for two Altair 39's. These are French built. I believe they are designed by Gerard Danson, the same designer of the Outremers. They are different to the Altair 39 designed by Malcolm Tennant of New Zealand.

Does anyone have experience with these boats or know anything about them? The information I can find to date is pretty scant. More specifically if anyone does have experience with them I am after the usual details such as;
1. original design brief/intended market, ie charter, coastal, offshore?
2. overall performance
3. performance in a heavy seaway including incidence of bridgedeck slamming
4. construction techniques
5. overall quality
6. etc
