Re: (Almost) free cat anyone?

OK. I can do this.

I require written permission to take possession with the purpose of returning the boat signed and notarized.

I will require funding up front for operating costs.

I require the address and contact information for the owner.

I require an indemnification from the owner for any damage to the boat caused by war, weather or operation.

I need to negotiate a monthly rate for the return.

And several cases of beer!

Paul

PS I will take the dog.

How could you give such a beautiful animal away. It's like posting a pic of your child and saying please take him or her. Kind of heartless. Very sad and disturbing.

Re: (Almost) free cat anyone?

Whenever we were between Water boats">blue water boats I always pick out a decent looking seldom visited boat to steal/borrow in case there is a societal breakdown. We are presently well set in our boat though.

I have more than a sneaking suspicion that this post was somewhat tongue in cheek !!

Does this mean you will take him? I will meet you half way!
And I will up the ante by throwing in a bag of cat food!

You can't always keep an animal, things change. I gave away a dog yesterday.
New owner is pleased to have the dog and his kid is pleased to have the dog, and I think the dog will get more attention and live a better life where he is now, than he did when I had him.
