You have to understand that there is large group of mono and cat owners on CF that bashes lagoons. And promotes their boat.

Reason is simple. They all want to sell their boat for good price and buy Lagoon on cheap.

I think going with a shorter mast may affect resale value, especially with a less educated (i.e. new) owner not understanding the true effects. Good luck.
