Talking cats, have you seen the Sun Reef 70 catamaran built in Poland?

They are presently also building a 102' cat in aluminium.

I know that the Admiral has a low bridge deck clearance. Is there a big problem with slamming?

As you can see from the attached photo, the Sunreef 70 has a heavily 'V' shaped mid-hull which very effectively breaks up the sea, giving a soft ride.

Thank you. I can see that it does. But I can't afford and don't need a 70' cat. I looked at their website. It is too bad that they don't make smaller cats.

I can also suggest a very nice 43' cat built in Brazil you might find interesting.

I will make inquiries with Sunreef for a price estimate of a custom build.

Mind if I ask why you'd want to trade to an Admiral, when you have a PDQ 44? You already have one of the best boats built in terms of quality construction.

We don't have a boat at all yet. We will be ready to buy in about three years and are limiting our focus. We will have to buy used. My favorite is the PDQ 44, but we also need to look at other boats.
