Admiral 38 or 40 executive

I am looking for comments from anyone who has sailed an Admiral =38 or 40 executive. Specifically I would like remarks about performance and how seaworthy. If you have any other comments that would be great too.

Andrew, the Admiral 38 is a very seaworthy cat. I purchased one in South Africa in December 2006 and sailed her back to Florida. South African seas are exciting. We left Capetown in 30 knot winds because you don't have much choice. We had up to 20 foot swells at times and the fastest speed I recorded was 17 knots surfing down some of the huge waves. The autopilot handled the boat day and night for 6 weeks. I never spilt at drop of wine at dinner time, she rode it all that smoothly. We are now on a two year circumnavigation of the Caribbean basin and this is one wonderful boat! You can join us and learn more about this fine catamaran at web.mac.com/famouspotatoes2.

Hello Andrew

I own Windigo Admiral 38 and realy love the way she sails, even though i've not had a lot of experance sailing her in the blue I can tell she is very fast. The day I took her out on the sea trial in Tortola we were making 11.1 knots in 15 to 20 knots wind speed. I hired a captian to deliver her to Ft Lauderdale and he told me that he was doing 17.3 knots in fourteen foot swells, which seems likley as far as my experance go's. Long story short i'am refiting her for my own use now.
